According to Henry Ford, If everyone is moving forward together, then success takes care of itself. Vince Lombardi mentioned Individual commitment to a group effort – that is what makes a team work, a company work, a society work, a civilization work. Under the umbrella of the non-profit (and NON-POLITICAL) research network called Einstein Future Internet Lab, we all move together to create the upcoming world a better place to live.
The aim of this lab is to tackle research challenges of the industries and human beings, especially considering the infrastructure of Bangladesh. To fulfill the demand of future industries (termed as Industrie 4.0, Platform 4.0, Internet of Things–IoT) and human beings (Smart World, Smart Country, Smart City, Smart Home), Future Internet including Next Generation Networks (NFN) including 5th generation mobile communication systems (5G), Software-Defined Networking (SDN), Network Functions Virtualization (NFV), Cloud Computing, Edge/Fog Comp
uting, and other upcoming technologies will face challenges in terms of Big Data, Security, Privacy, Mobility, and Management. These challenges should be tackled in each of the application areas (healthcare, transportation, energy, production, food, education, housing, garments, etc.) in dividually since each of the areas has specific requirements. However, we should not forget to take challenges of cross application areas and as a whole.
